This reminds me of an enhancement I'd like to see with Record Merging,
the notion of checkboxes next to each tag, so instead of simply
choosing a lead record that the subordinate records will merge into,
the lead record would gain any of the tags checked on the subordinate
records.

I could imagine a similar interface geared more toward MARC editing
than bib merging.
