[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Regarding the installation of Evergreen 1.0.4

Hello all,
Earlier, this issue was posted in the the Open-ILS Dev mailing list. As,
this post is relevant to the general mailing list, I am again forwarding the
same issue again to this list.
This is a forwarded copy of the earlier email. So, it is a bit long email.
Initial problem was fixed from Dan's suggestion, but the problem about
connecting to the PostgreSQL still persists. While working on this issue, I
noticed that "opensrf.xml" contains no information about PostgreSQL
authentication, which should have been updated by the file
"eg_db_config.pl".
If anyone of you have already faced this kind of issue before, or had a
chance to resolve this issue, please share your experience. Your help will
be highly appreciated.

Hello everyone,
I am still trying to get Evergreen working, but I am still stuck into same
authentication error. I still doubt that the problem is due to the script
"eg_db_config.pl" which couldn't update the opensrf.xml file with database
authentication information. Evergreen couldn't connect the PostgreSQL server
due to this problem. I don't know whether manul editing the information in
opensrf.xml works or not, but still I will try that as well. If anyone has
faced similar problem, please share your experience. Your help will be
highly appreciated.
