[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Problem of importing the Gutenberg records

Hi Araik, Mike and list

on the wiki "How to Import  [Bib] Records"  page you refer to Araik  
[1]:  we should be aware that this page needs updating !

a) it does not  mention what can and cannot be done with MARC Batch  
Importing in the Staff Client (under Cataloging; aka Vandelay)

b) it does not mention that in 1.6 we have a completely new situation  
with MARC MFHD: Evergreen can Import [2] and maintain separate  
Holdings Records instead of demanding single MARC records keeping  
both the bibliographic and the (limited) holding information;
to Import MFHD (bibliographic record followed by one or more  
corresponding Holdings data records [or more broadly defined: Serials  
data - the MARC data needed for Serials Management]) you would need  
to use "marc2sre.pl"  which is not yet explained on this wiki page  
but elsewhere - see Dan Scott on "marc2sre.pl"  here

c) it needs tidying up and maybe needs 1.6 specific instructions  for  
the Gutenburg test set (of single MARC  records and no physical  
collection holding information in that record but pointing to an  
electronic resource)
