The xact_start (transaction start) is the timestamp of checkout. The
checkin_time is the timestamp of when the checkin occurs. A null in
that column indicates that the item is still in circulation.
There are 3 columns noting renewal possibilities, desk_renewal,
opac_renewal, phone_renewal. If you're looking for only original
checkouts, you'll want all 3 of these columns to be null.
