Actually, the screenshots were not good at all since it didn't even provide the real steps needed to figure out the process. Lots of ambiguity in the guidance you received.

Hi Again - just realized I didn't answer your question about the screenshot vs. the textual instructions to create a template - I'm not a visual learner so having the template steps written out works better for me but I'm sure lots of folks would prefer the screen shots. I think the best documentation is a mix of both.

Hi Cynthia,

Check out http://pines.georgialibraries.org/pines/bills-currently-owed for bills currently owed by patrons. I filtered by patron home library and an aggregate filter of greater than or equal to the amount owed.

I used the Classic Circulation template source for my longoverdue report just because I think, for the most part, it is easier to use . either way, the key is to remember to filter by checkin date/time is null. For patron information, I went to the Patron Link, Patron Link > Current Library Card, and Patron Link > Mailing Address area.

Like Andrew, let me know if you need any help and I'd also like to know if creating the link above helped or if it would be better just to type the display and filtering selection paths.

We run a recurring weekly OD report for items between 60 and 90 days overdue. I do not know of a way to share that report across PINES so I can tell you what filters are used.

We use the old template creator for this one:

Template type = circulation

Filters =

   * Circulation -> Due Date/Time ( timestamp ): choose a transform = date ; choose a filter = between

   * Circulation -> Circulating Library -> Organizational Unit ID ( org_unit ): choose a transform= raw data; choose a filter = in list
   * Circulation -> Check In Date/Time ( timestamp ): choose a transform= raw data; choose a filter = is null

Displays:

   * Circulation -> Circulating Library -> Short (Policy) Name ( text )
   * Circulation -> Due Date/Time ( timestamp )
   * Circulation -> Circulating Item -> Call Number/Volume -> Call Number Label ( text )
   * Circulation -> Circulating Item -> Call Number/Volume -> Bib Record -> Simple Record Extracts -> Title Proper (normalized) ( text )
   * Circulation -> Circulating Item -> Barcode ( text )

If you need any help or have any questions let me know! In the Evergreen template you can't specify past 90 days if you use a relative date for recurring reports, like we do.--
