Right, I can imagine a rating system for this as well, and maybe a
means to "adopt" well-vetted reports into the stock version of
Evergreen.

The old "meat grinder" notion is getting some love in the form of code
called "query sets", so we will have server-side batch editing of
records that won't have to shuffle a lot of data to the client and
then back to the server. At that point, we can make normal buckets
display with a paging interface to reduce use of bandwidth. I think
we also need to really consider just sending the data that is being
displayed in a list, and if a new column is chosen from the column
picker, we re-ship the data rather than have it on hand.
