Hi all,
To prevent those of you who are already thinking about buying airline tickets from booking the wrong dates, I'll clarify that the Evergreen Conference will be held from Wednesday, April 27 (which is the hackfest/pre-conference day) through Saturday noon, April 30, 2011. We'll have more details about the venue very soon!
Thanks to Cynthia for announcing this for us!
Chris

Subject: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] EG2011 International Conference, April 26-30: We're going to Georgia!!
Announcing Evergreen 2011!!
When: April 26-30
Where: Decatur, GA
We're pleased and excited to announce that the EG2011 conference will be held in Decatur, GA, hosted by our good friends at Georgia PINES and Equinox Software. Yes, we did announce last year that the 2011 conference would be in Austin, TX but we had to move it to Decatur, GA. There were problems securing a suitable venue for the conference in Austin in April or May, our preferred conference time.
GPLS/PINES, Equinox and Lyrasis hosted our first conference in Athens GA - GPLS and ESI promise to show us a great time this spring in Decatur. We thank the folks in Austin for their efforts to date and hope that someday we will all be going to Austin for an Evergreen conference.
Watch this list for regular updates and information about the conference website (coming very soon).
