[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Overlaying music sound recordings in Vandelay

Hi all,
 
I was wondering if anyone has had success in using Valdelay in Evergreen 2.x
to overlay records for music sound recordings. We've found that the default
matchpoints configured in Vandelay are not working for these records because
they don't typically have ISBN's. I thought I might be able to create a new
matchpoint by creating an attribute definition for the 024 field and then
setting the identifier field to true, but it doesn't work, probably because
I'm misunderstanding what is done here. 
 
Does anyone have any other suggestions for getting this to work?
