[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] hard due dates?

Hi there,
 
I'm trying to set a "hard due date" for end of semester in the Circulation Policies. Unfortunately, any format I use for the date seems to be wrong. I could reference to a date in the documentation using this format "1970-1-31". But when I try it with 2011-12-16, it doesn't save.
 
Can anyone tell me what the format should be for that date? Or what I might be doing wrong?
 
We're using 2.0.7.
