My personal opinion is that is a bug -- but my opinion is by no means
authoritative and, because the TT-OPAC is being built initially to
support specific requirements, is perhaps even not valid.  (Also note:
I've not touched the code myself.)

However, the structure and design of TT-OPAC (and the API calls it
uses to gather data to render) will make it relatively simple to add
this back as an alternate results-page template.  If/when that's
created, it will be a simple matter of configuration (listing the
template directory containing the appropriate results page version
/first/) to choose which to use.
