[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] combining OPAC lists and more

In preparation for the Summer Reading Program (yes, we're planning already!), I was questioned by staff about some interesting things pertaining to My Lists in the OPAC. I haven't been able to answer any of these by looking at what currently exists in Evergreen, so I think the answer is "No" to all, but here's some ideas to think about:

We have a volunteer preparing reading lists, which we want to be able to edit and add to later. So currently we have her using a staff OPAC account so that we still have control over it when she's done. Using the "Share" option on the OPAC is really a view-only type share, but we think it would be helpful to not only view but also edit and add to an existing list owned by someone else. The possibilities are endless.... Our book club could share a list with all the members as editors so they could compile new book choices.... I'll spare you my endless thoughts. Overall I'm thinking of Google Doc-style permissions, where someone can either view or view/edit.

Without a fully functional multi-user OPAC list, another option requiring just slightly more tech savviness: The ability to upload a CSV file to create a list. Currently I can download a list in CSV format, but I can't send it back into Evergreen. If I had a list and another staff member had a list, we could download them, combine, and upload to a new list which is now "shared".

Now's the time for the realists to start tearing apart my ideas with bullet-pointed reasons for why this technically is not possible. :) Or maybe not!

Thanks!
