A position with Emerald Data Networks, Inc.​ (EDN), relating to Evergreen
ILS, is currently available.

EDN is a technology consultancy based in Sandy Springs, Georgia with 
customers all over the US.

We are expanding our Evergreen support, migration, and development offerings 
and are currently interviewing for new positions.

Evergreen ILS.

Successful candidate will be a self-starter, put the customer first and be 
able to take the initiative to get things done.

We will consider remote staff for this position.

Required skills: You must have these to be considered.

- Familiarity with supporting an Evergreen environment including installing, 
maintaining and troubleshooting operational issues
- Familiarity with Evergreen database operations
- Familiarity with Perl
- Fluency with PostgreSQL or similar
- Fluency with Linux based OS's, especially Ubuntu and Debian Linux
- Fluency with general networking design, support and troubleshooting
- Strong customer service skills, time management and organizational 
behavior


Preferred skills: These will differentiate the candidates.
- Experience with Evergreen multiple-server environments (Clustering)
- Evergreen coding experience (please provide links to relevant Git 
branches)
- Familiarity with other ILS software
- KVM, Xen, and VMWare Virtualization
- Ability to write PostgreSQL queries, functions, and data load scripts
- Ability to develop Perl code (provide examples)
- Ability to develop JavaScript code (provide examples)
- Experience with translating source code into deb form for easier 
installation
- Understanding of the Evergreen Database Schema
