[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Standing penalties not removes automatically

Good Morning Deana,

I tested this scenario with the parameters that you mention (tested on
version 2.5.3b). You are correct, and this is unexpected behavior.
Normally, you should have the ability to just select Refresh, and the
penalty will recalculate. However, the user's account is retaining the
penalty. This will probably result in a Launchpad ticket. However, for now,
there is a workaround that you may have already discovered.

Within the patron account, select *Messages*. Select the penalty that
should not be on the user's account. Either by right-clicking or by
selecting *Actions for these Penalties / Messages*, select either
*Remove*(if you want to completely remove the penalty) or
*Archive* (if you want to retain the fact that the penalty happened). This
should clear the penalty off of the account. If the penalty should, in
fact, be on the account, the penalty will return when you re-retrieve that
account.

I hope this helps!

Erica
