Scott,

I don't know what your ultimate goal is; but, have you considering giving
them cat2 permissions which will allow them to create or edit volumes and
copies but not create or edit bib records?

Subject: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Create Volume Permission

We want certain staff members to be able to create a volume with an
override, but they are not prompted to enter an override. Instead they get
this message: "You do not have permission to add volumes to the
workstation library." I know they can use Operator Change to accomplish
this, but we would prefer to use an override. Is there any way to
associate an override with CREATE_VOLUME? We are at 2.6.3.

Thank you,
Scott
