[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] ACQ - temp barcodes / call numbers issue

We have a library that has uploaded the same order records from the vendor multiple times (4), created from one successful upload a selection list which was converted to a purchase order and then sent out as an EDI purchase order. After receiving and invoicing the items (all sounds good so far) discovers in the cataloging workflow that there are multiple copies, for each time copies were created (4) and all copies were assigned temporary barcodes and call numbers, as was set up for the system to do, (still sounds good) BUT (here's where the shoe drops) for half of the copies appearing on the holdings maintenance screen with barcodes and call numbers, the ACQ assigned barcodes and call numbers do not appear ANYWHERE in Acquisitions on any line item record. Since this is a bit confusing screen shots are included, hope they come through. 

Has anyone every seen this behavior with assigning temp barcodes and /or call numbers? or have any inkling where we can start looking?
