[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] ACQ - temp barcodes / call numbers issue

Hi Elaine,
I haven't heard of this particular problem happening here. However, I'm
also not sure how often we have a situation where a library would be
uploading the order record more than once, which might explain why I
haven't heard of it occurring.
As far as where to start looking, for the barcodes and call numbers you
only see in holdings maintenance, has anyone done a query against the
acq.lineitem_detail table to see if they exist there? Or perhaps looking
at the import queues would shed some light on the matter.
Also, I just wanted to note that I wouldn't expect any copies that were
uploaded to a selection list, but then never moved to the PO, to create
a live copy in the database that would be available through Holdings
Maintenance. Not unless the user had selected the option to "load items
for imported" records on the upload screen. I usually recommend that
people leave that option deelected since the copies are automatically
loaded when the PO is activated.
