No, they are not the same thing.

The Last Activity Date is when the last time the user logged into the OPAC
or was verified by SIP. The Record Last Update time was the last time the
record was updated via Edit.

Subject: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Reports Question- Last Activity Date vs Record
Last Update Time

Hello Everyone,

I had a question regarding the Last Activity Date that you see in a patron's
account vs the Record Last Update Time found in the ILS User source in the
report builder. Are they the same thing? How do they populate?

Thanks!
