Wouldn't you need to add the 007/01 (specific material designation) to
distinguish videodisc (d) and video cartridge (c)?

Thanks for the suggestion, Galen!!

We are currently running 2.1.1, but I'm currently testing out the process
to upgrade that to 2.3.6. I did find this section in
MARC21slim2MODS32.xsl:

                        <xsl:choose>
                                <xsl:when test="$leader6='a' or
$leader6='t'">text</xsl:when>
                                <xsl:when test="$leader6='e' or
$leader6='f'">cartographic</xsl:when>
                                <xsl:when test="$leader6='c' or
$leader6='d'">notated music</xsl:when>
                                <xsl:when test="$leader6='i'">sound
recording-nonmusical</xsl:when>
                                <xsl:when test="$leader6='j'">sound
recording-musical</xsl:when>
                                <xsl:when test="$leader6='k'">still
image</xsl:when>
                                <xsl:when test="$leader6='g'">moving
image</xsl:when>
                                <xsl:when test="$leader6='r'">three
dimensional object</xsl:when>
                                <xsl:when test="$leader6='m'">software,
multimedia</xsl:when>
                                <xsl:when test="$leader6='p'">mixed
material</xsl:when>
                        </xsl:choose>

Whatever I change this to here, I will also need to make sure is changed
post-upgrade, correct?

Lindsay, do I recall correctly that "moving image" is what we currently
get for VHS and DVD, or is it just VHS?

Thanks!

Do I remember correctly that you're running Evergreen 2.0 or 2.1? If so,
there is a file on the server that can be edited to change the 'moving
image' text. Look around line 3043 of:

/openils/var/xsl/MARC21slim2MODS32.xsl

After changing that, restart Evergreen services.

More recent versions of Evergreen, including what Lisa is running at KCLS,
offer easier ways of tweaking how the OPAC displays values based on fixed
fields.

Regards,

Galen
