[Evergreen-catalogers] Creating/Editing/Deleting Bibliographic Templates

Hi, Sharon, and everyone else!

If I understand correctly, you're asking that it be possible to 
add/edit/remove bibliographic record templates in the staff client. I 
think that is a great idea.

For that to happen, the templates would need to be moved into the 
database. As it stands now, they live in a directory under the same area 
where the OPAC templates reside.

You also must edit a configuration file and restart a couple of 
Evergreen services for new templates to show up on the list or for old 
ones to go away.

That process is cumbersome and cannot be done by staff who do not also 
have direct access to your Evergreen servers.

My apologies if that was covered in the MASHCAT presentation.

As usual, there is a Launchpad bug saying that the above move should be 
done:

I don't believe any progress has been made in that direction, and 
certainly not by me.  I often open wishlist bugs with the intention of 
working on them some day, when time permits.
