[Evergreen-catalogers] transfer bug?

Hi Vickie,

Yes, this has been a bug since parts were first introduced to Evergreen. https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/904472. This bug also causes the problem reported here - https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1411422

There is a pending fix for this bug that we hope to get into the software soon.

Today I transferred 22 item records from one bib/volume record to another bib/volume record.  At first I thought it worked great, but when I looked at them on the new bib record, all of the part information had been stripped out.  I now need to go to the stacks and match barcode numbers so that I can re-input the part information.  Is this a known bug?  We are still using Evergreen 2.9.6.  We have only been on Evergreen since January of this year and I can't recall ever transfering item records before so I don't know if it is something new.
