+1 on the 33X fields not being useful without the support of the fixed
fields.

As to the MP3 CD audiobooks, interesting question! We haven't purchased
these at my library, so I hadn't given it any thought, but there are other
libraries in our consortium buying them. After taking a look, they don't
seem to be consistently cataloged with fixed fields that would allow them
to sort separately from typical CD audiobooks.

Properly, like a Playaway, it seems they should have an 006 and an
additional 007 to account for their electronic resource aspects. Of course,
the trouble with the 006 is that it would be identical to the Playaway.
The 007 would be (at minimum): co nga I did find at least one record which
was so coded (ocn974674749)

It would be a hassle, since this isn't standardized you'd have to continue
to add it to MP3 records. And I'm pretty sure it would require more
sophistication in the code in order for it to accurately distinguish
between CD audiobooks, Playaways, and MP3 audiobooks (and probably other
computer files on disc). But that might be an avenue.
