[Evergreen-catalogers] call number attributes in the holdings templates editor

Hi Carol,

From the comments in the bug it looks like the call number values are now stored if you change them before saving the template (https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1983156/comments/14) and so the check box was removed as being unnecessary.

I just tested on EOLI’s 3.12 server and the prefix and suffix that I updated before saving the template are applied when I apply my template.

I don’t think we have current official documentation for the holdings editor (the docs look a few versions old).   I’ve added it to the docs needs list for DIG (https://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=evergreen-docs:documentation_needs#documentation_still_needed)

Hi Jennifer,

We were looking at 3.13 during the meeting yesterday, and I don't see it on the Equinox public demo server (3.12.0). Is there a setting for it that isn't in the Holdings Editor Preferences? I tried checking "Unified Holdings, Item Attributes Display, and Item Templates" there to no effect.

I haven’t test on 3.12 myself to see if it works as expected. (We’re currently running 3.11)

Hi all,

As discussed during today's meeting, here are my screenshots showing that call numbers, prefixes, and suffixes are can be included in the standalone Holdings Templates Editor (Administration > Local Administration) in 3.7.4 when the "Allow Call Number attributes in Item Templates" is checked in the Defaults:
