[Evergreen-general] [Bug 2033543] [NEW] Merging Circ Stats to Replaced Item Record

Wait. I didn't think circ stats were lost when an item is deleted. The
checkout has been recorded and won't be erased just because the item no
longer exists. Like when I retire, the work I have done over twenty years
doesn't disappear.

What am I missing?
