[Evergreen-general] Receiving Issuance Error

Gina,

While I've never actually looked at the console messages (shame on me), we
get similar reports from time to time.

The Serials function can be very very finicky when it comes to the way
issuances are made. If I had to guess, this is happening because you have a
blank volume in the issuance code. I've seen this exact problem before - a
couple issues can be received without trouble but then it fails every time
after.

When this happens for my libraries, I usually delete all the
expected issues and start over with a fresh prediction pattern. If volume
isn't being used, create a pattern that doesn't use it. The most
straightforward solution is to not use enumeration at all and just stick to
calendar labels only.

Predict new issues from the new pattern and see if they predict correctly
and can be received.

With the Serials module in general, I find that a bad or odd pattern
creates 95% of reported problems - at least in our network.

Hope this helps.

John
