Membership Meetings

1) The board shall hold a public meeting at the annual Evergreen International Conference to provide the Evergreen community with an update on their work and to discuss any outstanding community business. Notice of the meeting will be given 30 days in advance. The agenda will be distributed at least 7 days in advance.

2.10 Transition to General Rules of Governance and General Elections
By the end of the 2012 Evergreen International Conference or 30 April 2012, whichever comes sooner, the Board will have
promulgated rules of governance for this Board and the Evergreen Project to be presented for approval by the general membership
of the Evergreen Project during the conference. At that same time, the board will designate at least 1/3 of its seats to be filled by
general election at the 2012 conference. 

The board will hold elections for the board officers prior to 30 April 2012.  Nominations for candidates will be solicited and accepted 30-45 days prior to a formal balloting period.  The formal balloting period will take place 7-29 days prior to 30 April 2012.  Ballot will be distributed online and completed online. Board members will be elected by a majority vote. Ballots shall be counted if they are received on or before the designated close of ballot date.
