David, there are two images from Dan Scott listed on the download page of
the evergreen-ils.org website:

Evergreen 1.4 RC2 on Ubuntu server 8.04 (Hardy
Heron)<http://open-ils.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=virtual:virtualbox:ubuntu804>comes
with no preloaded data. Thanks to Dan Scott (Laurentian University)
for this VirtualBox image.

Evergreen 1.2.3.1 on Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy
Heron)<http://open-ils.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=server:1.2:ubuntu804:readme>comes
with no preloaded data. Thanks to Dan Scott (Laurentian University)
for this VMWare image.
Which one are you working with?
