On the off chance that any of you is spending $1145 to register for OSCON
(O'Reilly's Open Source Convention, http://en.oreilly.com/oscon2009) in
San Jose in July, do consider going to the "Open Source Documentation
Doesn't Have to Suck" session
(http://en.oreilly.com/oscon2009/public/schedule/detail/7438). And let us
know what you learn! :-) Seriously, though the presenter is Documentation
Team Lead at Drupal, so maybe she would talk to us for less than $1175....

She is also an organizer of the upcoming Writing Open Source: The
Conference (http://www.writingopensource.com/), June 12-14 in Owen Sound,
ON (NW of Toronto), which looks really interesting. It's even being held
at a public library! I sure wish one of us could go--I think the Evergreen
community would benefit a lot from it. Don't suppose any of the Canadians
out there could manage to get there? It's $250CAD.

Paul
