I don't know if this would help with the holds documentation, but our
group met this morning to do some testing to see how the system fills
hold when using a soft boundary versus using no boundaries at all. We
documemented how the system responded to different holds scenarios
using each of those configurations. I thought it might be useful for
others who are interested in learning how Evergreen fills hold
requests. If it's of interest to DIG, let me know and I'll be happy to
send it along. We used 2.0 for the testing, but I imagine the
scenarios could also be useful to any new users who may be doing their
own testing no matter what version they are using.
