[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] reporter.classic_current_circ

I am trying to pull circulation statistics into a larger SQL query that
I am working on.  It looks like the most direct way to get the total
number of circs an item has had is to go through the view
reporter.classic_current_circ.  When I try to do that, though, I get:

"permission denied for relation classic_current_circ"

Is there another direct way to get at the total circ count for an item
without going the long way around (adding up transactions on the fly)?
I am part of a consortium, and don't have a way to change the
permissions.
