So far we have not found a way to do so in Evergreen, but I have found
that I can copy and modify records easily using a freeware program
called MarcEdit
(http://people.oregonstate.edu/~reeset/marcedit/html/index.php). I tend
to run everything through MarcEdit since it allows batch changes and
does an excellent job.

Subject: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Copy marc record
In Evergreen, is it possible to take an existing marc record, copy it,
and modify it, to become a new marc record for a slightly different
item? I have a feeling that this is not possible, because I don't see
any reference to it in any of the documentation I've read.
