Hi Tara,

Sorry for my late reply. We are having the same questions about fundingtags and all the claim possibilities.
At the moment we are trying to re invent our way or ordering. Our old library system works in a completely different way than Evergreen. We are a bit open minded, but using the selectionlist may have it's advantages.  At the moment our library department is ordering and receiving the PO's. With selectionlists other departments could do the ordering.  I agree that the acquisitions of Evergreen is very flexible.

Hi Marjolein,

I'm playing around with it, trying to get a grasp on funding tags and all the claim categories (claim types, claim event types, claim policies, claim policy actions). I don't understand what these terms mean, there are no helpful hints in the UI, and there's no documentation (...yet). The way we currently do acquisitions with our current ILS is a bit messy (partially because of the software, but partially because of us and our odd workflows).

I'm trying to figure out how Evergreen acq works, and imagine how we can utilize an ILS more and use spreadsheets less (or not at all).

What's your workflow for ordering in Evergreen?

Hi,

I've heard that GLPS (?) is working on documentation for 2.0 acquisitions.

I'm messing about with it and it looks super flexible and that it will support various workflows. Unfortunately without documentation and not many clues in the UI I find myself going in circles and not making much progress.

If anyone has draft documentation, or internal documentation to share, I'd be extremely grateful.
