[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Pull list fields

Ben,
That is very good news. Most of my staff don't bother to print the hold list, they just jot down a few notes to help them remember any details that they might not remember. The field we want to add is the item type since that helps us determine where certain series and award books are kept if they have been separated from the rest of their particular collection. It sounds like the display in 2.0 may be the answer to our problem, and I have my fingers crossed that 2.1 has the same feature.
Thanks for the help!
Deanna

Hi Deanna,
In 2.0 (and presumably 2.1+), the pull list display in the staff client seems pretty dynamic, allowing you to sort and add many other columns to view information about hold requests. When it comes to printing that information though, the template for the printed pull list remains fairly static and similar to what I remember from our time on 1.6.1. There are two print options for the pull list, the print full pull list is the regular one, but the print full pull list (alternate strategy) seems to have a slightly nicer styling applied. Noticeably, the alternate strategy printed pull list can be ordered by copy locations, which makes grouping and ordering of the hold requests easier to find in the library.
What other fields were you hoping to have added to the pull list display? Perhaps this is something that can be changed locally in your future Evergreen system.

We are running 1.6.1.4 but plan to upgrade to 2.1 sometime next month. One of the frustrations in 1.6.x for us is that the pull list fields are fixed. Can anyone tell me if additional fields can be added to the pull list in 2.1?
Thanks,
