Yeah, can't let this stand I'm afraid, this is demonstrably false. A
school of 800 students is   one of the smallest Koha installs. There
are reasons to choose Evergreen over Koha and Koha over Evergreen. The
difference between 300 and 800 students is definitely not one of them.

(FWIW Koha runs for much much (think orders of magnitude) more users
than 800. Including libraries like Delhi public.
