Hello,

One of our member libraries is looking at a new campus card system.  Please
see her message below.  She is wonderiing if any other Evergreen libraries
in an academic library has run into any issues.

Greetings.  Hoping you can help.

We are working with the following consultant/vendor
http://www.allcampuscard.com/ to implement an All Campus Card system at our
institution Springfield Technical Community College).  The representative,
Bob Huber, claims he never contacts the ILS vendors to determine
compatibility.  I am, of course, at a loss as to determining if our
upcoming installation of Evergreen (we are a C/W Mars academic library in
Massachusetts due to migrate on May 31st) will interface well with this
magnetic strip one card platform or not.  Our campus card would go into
effect by Fall.  No other C/W Mars libraries use a magnetic strip card on
their sites-- but that doesn't indicate anything since the overwhelming
libraries participating in this consortium are small public libraries and
we are an outlier as an academic campus.  I have already asked the staff at
C/W Mars to vet this and they state it is beyond their scope for this
project (which is focused on an ILS migration for a majority of public
libraries)

Please direct me to an Evergreen community member or developer or a client
who could assist.  I would be extremely grateful.
