 If this were set to "false", would the cloned patron then have their
address linked to the original patron's address in such a way that editing
the original would edit the cloned account as well?


Yes, editing the original patron’s address will, in effect, edit the other
patron’s account who displays this linked address. I sent another email
this morning with screen images of this particular part of the feature on
the other email thread.


What about if you edit the clone - does it then automatically edit the
original as well?

No. You can edit the address of the clone without it affecting the address
of the original patron.
