[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Tag 880 indexing for CJK characters

I also wanted to elaborate on this comment in my e-mail, not just for 
Agatha but for anyone following along :

I think this piece of 880 indexing took us by surprise. In the xpath I 
mentioned below, we had originally included the 245 field, but then 
needed to adjust it because we found that title searches were retrieving 
results based on words appearing in the statement of responsibility, 
even when those records did not contain an 880 field. We therefore 
removed the 245 field from that particular index definition and created 
a new one that just identified the subfields we wanted to index from the 
245 for 880 purposes.

Does anyone know if the fact that it indexes non-880 records is a result 
of a bug in the 880 marc21expand880 or is it expected behavior?
