[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Z39.50 Index Field Maps and the Local Catalog--can you help?

If I had a DVD in hand that needed to be added to the collection, I would
first do a control number search of Evergreen to see if the title was
already in the database. If it was, I would just add it.

If it wasn't I would go to OCLC and find it there, edit the record, and add
my holding symbol to the bib record. Then I would copy the OCLC number, go
to Evergreen and import it through Z39.50 by doing a TCN search of both
Evergreen and OCLC.
