[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Screen Readers and Evergreen

Hi Rose,

We have the Evergreen OPAC tested recently by blind tester from the
Czech   Library and Printing House for the Blind. The tests concerned the
OPAC only (not the staff client), but the testing was done in various
systems, browsers and screenreaders including

Operating systems and browsers:
Microsoft Windows 7 to 10 with Internet Explorer browser
Ubuntu Linux 15.04, with  Mozilla Firefox browser
Mac os Sierra 10.12 public beta with  Safari browser

Screen readers:
Windows: Jaws17 and NVDA (the most recent version).
Ubuntu Linux: Orca (the most recent version).
Mac os Sierra: Voiceover (the most recent version)

We have only a brief  accessibility tests report available at the moment.
However  the results are quite optimistic. Some minor recommendation has
been given to us and  minor problems in search result  navigation in
Mac/Voioceover has been reported however on the whole Evergreen OPAC has
been found as very "blind friendly".

We are planning to meet with the tester in a future and discuss the issue
more thoroughly (and hope to get some  recommendations for improvement of
the minor Evergreen acessibility problems).
