I had meant to send out this email last week, but I was home snuggling a
sick baby instead! Since I missed sending a reminder, the deadline for
voter registration is extended. *Voter registration will end today, March
9th, at 4 PM EDT. *Click here <https://forms.gle/SJ85JjRDakaQCZHN8> to
register if you have not done so already. Invitations to vote will be sent
immediately after.

Voting will be done Approval Style
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Approval_voting>. For more information on
the Evergreen Project Board, see the Project Governance
<https://evergreen-ils.org/governance/> page on the Evergreen web site.

There are two open seats on the board. You may select up to two candidates.
If a candidate receives a majority vote from registered voters, they will
be considered approved.

Candidates:

*Jeanette Lundgren *

Jeanette is Executive Director of CW MARS, a consortium of 147 member
libraries and 175 outlets (branch locations) using Evergreen since 2012,
located in Central and Western Massachusetts. Jeanette has led the network
for almost two years, after serving as Library Applications Manager for
three years prior. She has served on the board of MassLNC, the Evergreen
development cooperative, for two years. Prior to CW MARS, Jeanette was
Systems Librarian at Becker College for eight years and was a software
developer for six years. Jeanette is a collaborative leader with a strong
background in Evergreen and non-profit corporations with a good
understanding of the issues facing the Evergreen and the organization and I
strongly recommend her for the Evergreen Project Board. -Ron Gagnon, NOBLE

*Debbie Luchenbill *

Debbie has been part of the Evergreen Community since 2012, when she
started working for MOBIUS. In the Evergreen community, she currently
facilitates the Documentation Interest Group (DIG). She has served on
several Evergreen International Conference site selection committees, is a
member of the Evergreen International Conference Standing Committee, worked
as local co-coordinator of the 2018 Evergreen International Conference and
will be the coordinator of the 2021 conference. She is also a member of the
Outreach Committee, where she helps to plan ALA meetups, manage
merchandise, and other committee work. Outside the Evergreen community,
Debbie has experience on several other Boards and leadership teams, in a
variety of capacities. She is personable and a big-picture thinker.
Thank you to our candidates and voters!
