Hi Stuart,

The example I gave does not filter to a specific format but filters to formats.  The MVF source looks like this:

Bib ID   |   Attributes   |   Value

The attributes are attributes of the bib which are more than just search formats.  Off the top of my head they include languages, the marc item type, media type, icon format, carrier type, and more.  So by saying attribute = 'search_format' you are just getting those not all the other stuff.  And you could get multiple rows for an item because an item can have more than one search format.

Hi Stuart,

If the circ mods at that location don't accurately reflect the item type you can use this path:

Item -> Call Number/Volume -> Bib Record -> MVF Attributes

Set a filter to use Attribute = 'search_format' and that will give you the actual search format Evergreen determines from the marc data.

Hi

I am trying to create a report that will give me a list of items in a particular Circ Library filtered by Shelving location etc. I also need to show whether the item is a book, DVD, cd, etc. But for the life of me, I cannot figure out what field to pick.

I am using the Item data source.

Is there anyone that can help please I only have access to the reporter?
